Will I notice a difference?(exhaust)

I have been wanting to get a full 3" catback in SS for a while now. The only affordable one is on the drivers side and I would like it to exit the passengers side. I can get this one for $240 shipped brand new. Now on the other hand, my friend wants to sell me his Apexi N1 single that exits on the passenger side. But it is used slightly and he wants $300. But it fits/looks nicer but has no silencer. Will I notice a difference with the N1? Even with the inline "silencer" they have with them? How long does that painted mild steel last anyways?

I would recommend buying a muffler and getting your own made. Does it have to be SS? Bling factor or hoping it will reduce more noise? Are you planning on a full 3" turboback eventually, or keeping the stock cat? The Apexi N1 isn't a true 3", it bottle necks at the cat, which is why I ask. The N1 is going to be LOUD, but the price is right. I went with 3" custom piping with an HKS carbon-ti on the back, it's very reasonably quiet(considering the rest of my 3" turboback) and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg(250 for the muffler plus 90 for the piping job, not ss though). Lol, there's obviously a lot to consider here, but to answer your original question... notice what? Noise level? Most certainly. Build quality of catback. Maybe a little. Flow? Very doubtful I think. Painted mild steel should last you a good long time in Florida.

Steve

I have a 3" Dp and MP, only thing left is the stock catback. I would like to have a full 3" exhaust and SS if possible. Probably going to buy the corksport DP/MP later on to add to it. Heres what I am thinking of buying:
