i am also curious as to how much power that set up would make... BNR claims that the stage 1 can produce 300-320hp. i'm looking to go that route as well...
anyone running anything similar out there? what kinda #'s are you making? and @ how much boost?

The BNR stages seem to be a bit over exaggerated. Ask Jrat about his stage 4 and the final hp numbers. I would think a stage 1 on a stock block may be around 250rw
the street port is the biggest help in getting you near the 300 mark. A stage 2 should make it easy to get there without having the really strain for it.

I ran my stage 4 to about 19 or so PSI, and I only made 347.
Now for the caveat:
The AFRs were dead on, but the ignition could have probably been advanced. Remember, its not JUST the turbo that makes power, its the TUNE and SUPPORTING MODS.
Furthermore, I dont think Bryan is in the habit of making things up, as that would be poor buisness. So I would be willing to bet someone made 300 on a stage one.

Good to see everyone and their brother are taking the same route I will be soon.
I hope to hit ~300-325whp with:
Stage 2 BNR
Rtek 1.7
720's
FMIC
Full RB Exhaust
Street port
and the other typical supporting mods, along with ignition and tranny upgrades.
Im 100% convinced its possible w/ the mods you listed JABrx7, as long as you do the exhaust too, along with a stage 2 instead of stage 1

Correct^^^...you would be better off getting the stage 2 and easily make 300 rather than straining the stage 1....if you use a stage 1 then you are looking at a shorter life on the turbo because you would have to push more boost to gain the 300hp(correct if wrong)

1.7 is rated safely to 14psi on stock turbo. That's a good 50-100hp less than your desired range.
I would recommend gettign a Rtek 2.0 with 720's all around or maybe bigger secondaries just as a precaution.
I always prefer to stay on the safe side when it comes to a $2,000+ motor.
The motor can be more reliable when you put less strain on the setup to produce that number. Like mentioned above, 8psi on a larger turbo will last longer than 16psi.
