We sure are!!
If you're going to do the work yourself check this stuff out.
First you want to get one of these..http://www.rotaryaviation.com/o-ring_kits.htm

Than you want to get some of these..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...159450433&rd=1

Take it apart, measure everything, if anything is bad get used replacement parts, stick it back together and go buddy Go!

$2100-$2900+, depending on motor condition. If they skimp on the parts it can go lower.

You can get engines rebuilt with warranty and photo documentation for as low as $1000 depending on the condition of your core.

I would think it would b hard to find a low mile 2nd gen na engine. And if you did, the engine would have to be sitting for a very very long time and would probably need new gaskets and O rings at the very least. You might be able to keep the apex seals.

Check the classified section of this forum. Some guys have good deals on their good used engine parts. What most people do, if everything is still good, they jsut get the complete gasket kit with new apex seals. New housings are nice, but that raises the rebuild cost another 1K

it depends, from a simple rebuild which is reusing most of the components, IE Irons, Housing, rotors, eshaft. Also if you do it yourself you will save on the labor.

Anywhere from $800 to $3000 rebuild. If your motor is still running, dont touch it!

Bad advice. If you wait until it breaks, you will be replacing $200-500 (used value) worth of rotors and rotorhousings. If you refresh it before it lets go you are almost assured that it is fully rebuildable with all the major hard parts reuseable.

you can get some used jdm engines from tiger japan for under 1500 with the complete turbo tranny ecu and harness that seems like the deal
or depending on your rebuild requirements from using all your old parts to almost all new I've seen rebuild prices from 1k to 6k. If you have any mechanical experience and an excellent machine shop to do your measurements. You can do it yourself with all new seals and gaskets by atkins rotary for about 1k shipped cheaper if you talk to everyone on here and hodgepodge it together with good used parts my last rebuild I put back together for under 200. Oh and get your waterseals from a place like thomas registry or mcmaster carr.
