i would have to say no...most cars that have moldings on them stock look bare without them...some car, the integra , look good without them because of their natural lines...ive always thought the best of both worlds is color matched moldings , so if u have a s4 fc and the moldings arte black i would just paint them..this will allow u to keep the moldings too in case people open their doors into ur car u wont have to deal with little dings etc. that my 2cents

I agree completely with krazydru. Just paint 'em. And please post pics of the FTU when you install the bomex on it!

Search for the pic of the guy that shaved all his molding, it looked too plain. Its like for me after having the TII hood look for so long, seeing NA ones look too plain, but in the case of that pic, its like the whole car. The molding makes the car look better even though it may seem outdated.

if you shave the mouldings, you have to have your bumpers shaved too. i've seen a yellow 7 with shaved mouldings but the dummy didn't shave the bumpers on his kit and it looked mega gay. also, losing the mouldings gives your car a super sexy look, but any dings would be really really noticable. good luck anyhow!

by shaving the mouldings, it will give a smooth or plain look, as you may. i don't think it's worth all the trouble and/or fiberglass and bondo that usually cracks back out over a short period of time, due to the flexing of the vehicle, especially if you like to do some hard cornering. save the shaving and moulding for show vehicles is what i say.

The Bomex front doesn't carry the trim lines around like the stock bumpers. One of the main reasons I HATE it.

If you don't have em' on the bumper, don't have em' anywhere else.
