I checked the what did my fc come with thread and didnt find this so. Is it possible to get an '87 TII with 2+2 seating? I didnt think you could but the guy I am looking to buy one from says his '87 TII has 2+2 seating.

No TIIs came with 2+2 to my knowledge, but you can buy the backseat and put it in. That's what I'm thinking about doing.

The back seats are basically useless to anyone other than very small children and amputees. They're almost as bad as the back seats of an old 911 or my dad's Austin-Heally.

It can be used though if I absolutely need to carry the 3rd person although he/she would be dying back there I need to carry 2 people time to time, so I'm putting in a backseat in my TII

Awww, just leave the bins in, and have them lay in the back. Tell them if they whine you're gonna pop the hatch and romp on it

A friend of mine has a TII with 2+2 stock. I'm sure it was an option.

If you need to have a 3rd person inb the back seat, they can always sit sideways. Also, I'm pretty sure that you couldn't get a T-II with back seats. Maybe Icemark will chime in to set it strait.

It seems there was a bit of confusion in the factories with rear lsd being there or not, i certainly suspect its possible that more than a few t2s got out with backseats, regardless its all interchangeable and its still turbo

If you read the what did my FC come with thread you would have seen it to be an option (Fold down rear seat with color keyed seat belts) on many FCs for most years.
