I finally have the rear end assembled.
This is the 2nd subframe and 3rd set of rear control arms, because we damaged the first subframe in the press (and by we, I mean f1bluerx7) and bushing replacements in the control arms failed twice, and using the extra control arms (I had 4 sets available) was faster than dealing with the failed bushings.

So I didn't have time to completely clean and paint this set, I might drop it again some time this summer and do that.

Waiting for my pinion snubber and battery relocation supplies before I put the rear suspension back on.

Also notice the solid polyethylene subframe and rear diff mounts, mazda competition front diff mount (currently with the counterweight from my old diff mount, should I use that?), and racing beat adjustable rear camber bar.

Wheels came:
Enkei RPM2
Hyperblack (the camera doesn't really capture the color well)
17x9 in the rear, 17x8 in the front

With the tires they're practically 10 inches and 9 inches.
Hopefully they'll still fit with the coilovers.

Sure.

Are you going to the BBQ in June?
It was a lot of fun last year and it should be huge this year.

Do you have an example of an appropriate one?

I haven't seen many options at the normal places I buy parts.

In this battery relocation how-to, Ted recommends two 150 Amp Circut breakers. to protect the alternator and the battery.

Thanks, I'll order some breakers.

Meanwhile, got my rear subframe and LSD on this weekend, along with new brakes, racing beat swaybars, endlinks, and stance coilovers. The car looks funny with the coilovers set to almost max height. The wheels look smaller in these pictures than they do in person.

I also attempted to install a pinion snubber.. but I don't think the one I have is big enough, so I'll have to go back at some point and replace it. At least it will give the diff something to hit when I break the front mount.

So far this week I've done the new transmission seals, clutch and pilot bearings, clutch and pressure plate, and stainless braided turbo oil drain line.

I'll take pictures later.
