1986 NA What to do?

I tried searching, but I haven't been able to find many things for N/A's. My bro's got some cash and he wants to spend it on his 1986 N/A. I know how people hate to answer questions on topics (like this) that people ask every day. Any suggestions? My bro is planning on removing his cats and replacing them with a striaght pipe. Just asking what mods would make his GXL faster. If you don't feel like writing then just gimme some search topics and words to search for. Thanks before hand

Jaime

Btw, I previously wanted to buy this RX-7 TII but instead bought an 1991 MR2 NA. So I, too, love rotaties, even if I don't have one.

yeah, what they said

After the basics, don't forget the suspension and brake mods. A strut bar is the best bang for the buck and feels really fun being able to take turns a lot faster than normal. Hold off on the NAWZ for now and learn the good stuff about the rotary.

I should have been more specific

My brother wants to make his car faster.

What mods and where is what I don't know. Today he purchased an Apex'i power intake for $130 w/ adapters. He should be getting it on Wednesday. What we were looking more into were bolt ons such as headers and exhaust mods. What parts are the best for his N/A? Also, we live in the bay area (CA) so we were wondering if there are any rotary specialist shops around here that you guys know of.

I know this post must have been asked millions of times but I just had to ask seeing as how it was pretty hard finding things already.

You could buy my Down Pipe of me. It's a Stainless Steele Bruleen built pipe that Is a direct bolt on to your exisiting Manifold. It replaces the Precats and the Main one (depending on configuration). PM me If you are Interested.

RX7store.net has the cheapest prices I ever found.
Apexi N1 Exhaust is a good choice.

Thanks for the link. I'm checking out the headers and stuff, but they keep talking about how you need a race pipe. Can somebody please explain these things to me.
