13b-rew custom mounts for fc

hey guys i had a question i came across this website called motive fabrication.com well they claim to sell a mount that allows you to directly bolt in an 13b rew motor into an fc... yes im looking for lots of power. so im curious if any body has ever heard of this site.

The owner of that site is on nopistons.com alot, i remember when he built them. he showed them with them being used with the rew in his fc, everythying fit very well

search around there for motive and you will find his posts

These mounts attempt to use the stock FC mounts to support the weight of the engine, but keep in mind the REW mounts on the rear iron. So you have a huge lever and a lot of lateral stress on the FC mounts. It's certainly not the best arrangement but currently the oil choice for bolt in.

I'd suggest you just hang the REW in the engine bay and then weld a set of mounts on the FC subframe once you see where they need to be.

FOR AN RE NOT AN REW!!!

Go here There are a couple of people in Sweedan who listened to my advice which is what Aarons is now and welded in some supports. Good pics over there
