02 woes again!

I measured my o2 signal to ground. There is resistance. Also measured the sheilding to ground there is resistance.

So is this correct? I seem to be stuck at 4mv readings all the time like the 02 loop is no good.

Sensor wire to ground at ECU should be .4 to .9 volts.

Is this at idle?

I measuring this with the car off and battery disconnected. I was just measuring ohms to see where it was grounded.

Hmm - I have never ohm'd an O2 sensor.

Download the "fuel & emissions - NA" section of the manual & go to page 31.

Not sure which link your talking about.

I measure the 02 body to ground. Below 1 ohm. Measure 02 body to sensor wire below 1ohm which looks like this should not be so.

I never measure voltage during idling etc. I will have to check this out later.

will higher resistance cause richer running car?
