Smog test woes!
Well I just bought another RX-7 and am having trouble getting it registured. I live in Manassas Va which requiores a smog test to get tags. The problem is all of my emissions equipment has been removed and no cat. I would like to registure the car at my Aunts house in Fakier Co. because they dont do smog but I dont know how I would go about doing this. Is there anybody out there that has any ideas to help end my woes? Has anyone else had to do something like this?

I've heard of people unplugging an injector on 4 cylinders so that the cars only running on 3 cylinders and the 4th one is just passing air but i don't know if a 2 rotor engine will run on only 1 rotor it'd probably work on the rx8 but then again i don't know if the rotors require there own motion to keep them moving because there not locked in to the electrostatic shaft like pistons are connected to the crank by the rods...
so i probably wasted some ones time or gave them a way to pass the emmissions with there piston engine car lol
have a good one
