$25 strut bars

Anybody know if those cheap front strut bars for sale on Ebay are any good or completely useless.

I've wondered about these things myself? Almost tempted to pick one up just to see how crappy it really is? Maybe it's not worth the time...

i bought a tri strut tower bars for my 89 on ebay for 61 bucks. i should get it installed in the next week or 2 or 3 and ill let you guys know what i think. here's some pics of it as supplied with the auction page:

and in a diff color. they said theyd paint it whatever color i wanted so it would match my car...so i had them paint mine black. ill get some good close up pics after i get the bar (its in transit) to see the quality of the bar.

this same guy has sold this bar on ebay more than once so im figuring that maybe he makes them or something...anywho i thought it looked similar to the mazdatrix bar and at 1/4th the price we'll see if its a waste of money or not. btw the screen name of the seller on ebay is farmz1 in case anyone wants to look for a bar for themselves.

The bars are built by CP Racing, a shop about an hour from my place. They are of good quality, and the guys at CP Racing are good guys, fun to deal with and fair. I have a bar I will be installing either today or tomorrow (finally, I've had it for 6 months).

Quite frankly, it's a bar. Not very complicated. As long as it fits and the welds are good, you'll be fine. The CP Racing bars are a quality part.

Note that you may have to move the fuse box down slightly. On some cars there are clearance problems.

Well... I believe someone was asking about strut bars... so I gave them a link that sells them, and thought he might be interested.

Ebay Low Cost Strut Bars

I purchased a low cost bar for my 3G. I'm not even sure who made it; there are no markings that I noticed. It took only a half-hour to install, but I cannot tell any difference between before and after handling.
