S4 13bt anyway to work in a 89+ chassis?

Question S4 13bt anyway to work in a 89+ chassis?

i wanna get this s4 ported 13bt motor but is there anyway i can make it work in my 89 Chassis? its a bareblock s4 i was thinking i can juss move everything over? electrical mop injectors and manifold.....

yeah the short blocks are the same. just change the front cover over and all the 89+ stuff should fit just fine

yes, you always replace the gaskets when you pull something apart. figure out what gaskets youll need to replace and then get them before you start taking stuff apart. off the top of my head youll need upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gasket, turbo-to-manifold gasket, front cover gasket, maybe a gasket for the OMP, and a new seal for the E-shaft pulley. theres prolly more than that though

Well, if you are pulling the front cover off the S5, you can leave the OMP attached, so you won't need that gasket.

You will also need gaskets like the turbo oil lines, the waterpump housing, oil pan, split air pipe. Im sure theres more, but I'm going off the top of my head.

ya i just figuring what all im doing to need
right now im gettin a new radiator and thermostat.... so im going to need intake manifold gaskets exhuast manifold gaskets new oil and water lines to the turbo.... and a front cover gasket???
