e.e Nice quip sir. I'm tired of being insulted by other rx7 owners that think I'm just another retarded american degenerate with a riced out car (oversized wing, coffee can exhaust, vinyls/stickers, blah blah blah) when in fact I'm a curious adult that grew up in the Philippines on Steve McQueen movies and drifting.

I love everything about my FC. The only things I dont like are that most FD owners look down upon us, and the fact that we get a bad rep because of the fact that 90% of FC's on the road are pure **** boxes.

i hate that people complain about our cars going for so cheap, like on the first page of this thread. are you kidding me! that's the great part! cause WE know how to fix them and THEY (the owners) for the most part don't. brilliant! parts cars are the best thng ever so long as you have a place to store them.

tell you what, you tell me where all those low priced non running T2's are and i'll take them away so you don't have to see them anymore. deal?

Why so you can dorito them into a wall? No thanks. Basic economics escapes you if you're planning on stripping them and sending them to be recycled and expecting the price to remain low

the apex seals are the best part. much easier than a piston rebuild w/ valves, springs, clips, boring, cylinder honing, etc... if u cant find parts, go to faq section and download the factory manual. like i said before its saves me over $2500 in coin! like said before you should expect all these issues on a 20yo car

But, mods like that wont happen til FC owners decide to open up a lil bit and spend some money. Seeing the way some people act about companies coming in to make parts, if i was a company, i wouldnt, this place has alot of negativity.
I couldnt have said it better.Came up on my TII with fresh rebuild for $2,900.many mechanical issues. the real money spent was bringing it back to factory conditioon then starting my mods. AND cutting NO corners! shes still in work but i get compliments 3/5 days a wk from all types. black, asian, white, teens, old gurus, mechanics. almost everyone who see's it can appreciate it. especially me because i have my dream car with no monthly pmts and i spank my boys modded subby. being 25 with a real career i make sure its done proper, never ricer

As a Partner with Starbucks, I feel compelled to give you a friendly tip...

Go one size smaller, have it put in a bigger cup. Get it double cupped, with a sleeve. Depending on your model FC, you can use the gap between the passenger seat and the center console. If that doesn't do ya, then wedge it between the passenger door arm rest and the seat.

If it's a cold drink, double cup it and go without the whipped cream and ask for them to put a second flat lid on it. The second cold flat-lid is really the most awesome thing. Not only does it help keep the new cups (We've cut down on our plastic usage, newer cold cups are very flimsy) from being squeezed enough that the lid pops off but it also makes a really great seal in case it falls into the floor board. The seal is more than adequate enough to use the cup as a tea/coffee shaker and leave it upside-down without leaking.

If traveling, ask for a splash-stick too..

I'm tired of fucktards buying FC's, that's what i hate about it.

An issue with the car? The **** electrical systems, I had to wire is an separate ******* switch just to get my running lights to work. my power steering system goes on the fritz when it rains. Window switches, wipers switches EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

The front differential mount could have been designed in a way where it wouldn't break all the time.

Door handles could have been made stronger and thicker in the areas that they bend and eventually snap at.

It seems the only cloth TII seats don't rip. All other ones eventually do, the seat bolsters deteriorate faster on TII seats however.

Illuminated gauge needles instead of throwing light onto the front of the gauges.

Chassis stiffening.

As for the cup holders comment, i just keep one of those cardboard ones from Arby's in the bins.

simple economics would tell you that having a parts car that only costs about 700 bucks is cheaper then piecing back together your car from a wrecking yard in the long run. all your gas, money and time add up quickly when your making multiple trips for parts that broke or warped while taking your car apart. not to even mention the convience of it being there to take parts off of 24/7.

and sorry if you think that hitting a wall in a car that was designed to be raced is stupid. it kinda comes with the territory, because, well, it's a sports car. if you haven't gone off a track or tapped a wall on a real track or touge road then you've never really pushed you or your car to their respective limits. accidents happen on the limit of traction and when they happen to me, i'm just glad i have a spare parts car in case i **** something up.

i personally hate the TPS eps with a light flywheel and 4 puck ACT clutch, that deecll bucking can get a bit annoying but i gotten the hang of stopping it from bucking witha tiny bit of clutch and gas, and also the Plastic alwasy breaks all the time and the hatch has at least one latch that would not work, thats really about it everything else is just pure excellence,

oh the act 4puck is Sprung so it should've been better, but still gets annoying if u just decel straight

I hate the fact that my main vert hates me and punishes me on the regular. IE bolts shearing off when tighten to factory specs, random electrical problems, going dead for no reason (only when people are looking) and crushing my fingers and busting my knuckles on the regular. Other than that I love my car even if it acts like a red headed super model, I wouldn't trade any of them for the world

As far as you know, most FD owners don't look down on FCs or their owners.
That's like me looking down on my Great Great Grandfather...sortof.
Most FD owners, I believe, owned FCs first.
So chill.

i hate how the midwest seems to lack any and all decent 70-80s' sports cars.

i have called every wrecking yard in a 50 mile radius of my house (about 5) and none have any rx7's. one guy asked me if it was a Pontiac.

I honestly think the 944 looks better than the fc, i just liked the rotary better and the horror stories of exploding 944 engines scared me (you think rotary engines are bad nothing beats a 944 blowing a timing belt and having the pistons meet the valves halfway, at 30k)

I hate that my sunroof doesn't work and that I couldn't fix it. I also hate doing business with bastards who lie about having parts available and deadlines. I'm currently dealing with a painter who keeps saying my car will be ready the next day but when I drive by my car hasn't moved.

I hate how S4s are considered inferior to S5s, then everyone and their mother swaps the S5 moldings and bumpers on to S5s, thus creating legions of S4/S5 bastard children.

Then again, it's kind of a love/hate thing since S4 body parts can be had for dirt cheap.

You're calling my car a bastard child? How about instead, I hate that aftmkt front bumpers are never created with S4 moldin options forcing people with standards to buy S5 moldings and rear bumpers...... That would be more accurate.... in my case anyway.
