I've gotten alot of chicks attention with my car. They ask things like "where did you get your car" or "is that hard to drive"

For the record i was talking about n/a fc's. And thanks for posting that clip exactly what i was talking about. I was giving credit to well designed car, you guys may hate hondas but they are good. I do however love my fc more than any honda, but if was going to buy a car and keep it in stock form it would be a dc2. And my fc would own an fd =D

On the mountain pass we run, I always mob with my buddy eric, who's pushin 315 to the wheels in his FD (and has 265s up front and 295s in the rear), and I have a basically stock N/A, and we run the same times, so were always right with eachother, its fun as ****, cause everyone else, we just smoke the **** out of them!

 

Oh yeah, well back on topic, I don't know if its funny, or just sad, cause the guy was cool as ****! But in June there was a show, followed by a drive up to a 14er and back (Mt. Evans in Denver. And there had to be 75+ on this cruise, well we were just startin to come down, the road just opened up to four lanes and here I come doin 95 in a 45, flyin around a corner, to pass a G35 "Skyline" (don't know if it was, just had the emblem on back) and an E36 M3, I was pullin as hard as my car would let me. All 4 of my tires were screamin, it was insane. So anyways, the two cars I guess didn't want me infront, so they started to come after me, apperently, never saw in my rear views again But apparently, the M3, tryin to catch up to me, spun out and totalled his car! Here's a pic right before the accident, its the guy with the "Dingy Captain" shirt and his girl.

Everyone should drive this road! Near the top, the drop off on the side is over 200 ft, and the guard rails look like there from the 1800's, there made of brick and are fallin apart, it was like a video game... but real and f-in beautiful!!!

Yeah they were both fine, luckily! It could've been real bad if they went off the side as supposed to hitting the uphill side! I was talkin to the guy too, and he was sayin he only had the car for a month, and was so happy. He always wanted an M3 and was sayin how he'd never get rid of the car.... I thought this topic was about 'Stupid/Funny/Random things said about the FC'....dont get me wrong I like a 'well tuned car'. However, I THINK we know the Honda/Mazda rivalry exits- just start new topic...

 

Okay, well that video is pretty much useless. You can't compare modded cars, who knows how much more one person spent on theirs. My videos is two stock cars. First off mine is the type-r, urs is a modded gsr or even ls. The video I posted has handling and straight away power. Showing the Type-R and the FD are almost identical in handling and speed.

But I'm still RX-7 all the way, I'd rather have mine over an NSX with a comptech supercharger. I know its slower, but the experience in driving the FC is amazing everytime I'm behind the wheel. I find it perfectly designed, I love my car, but I respect the Type R, it really is a great car, why deny it?

So lets forget this whole Honda vs Mazda BS!!!!

Obviously we're not convincing eachother, so lets drop it... please!

If you took the time to watch the real video, you would have noticed that the FD started in dead last, and the purpose of the movie was to watch it make it's way to first place. The integra type R does some pretty astonishing things for its drivetrain layout, but it wont hold a candle to an FD RX7

i was sitting at the lake with a couple friends of mine. one has a clean stock black fd and the other with an sr powered honda 240sx [sorry, i had to say it lol]
anyway, we got to talking about cars and dude with the 240 says he'd rather have my car than the fd any day.
i was like HUH?!

the guy with the fd honestly has no idea what he has. his parents are rich and bought it for him. i could tell you now he's had it for a while now and probably hasnt taken it passed 6k rpm. i almost talked him into letting me drift it lol
