When I was bending cross-members and frames I was doing it on a set of used HKS-D style coilovers, old school.... I think I had another 6" of adjustment and that would make me sit 5 and 3/4" into the pavement...

Notably if you haven't slammed an FC before you'll find out that your cross member is the lowest part on most and bending it will pretty much put an end to your car. (twice...) When you get hung up on a brick sidewalk your re-thinking things.


Though the First few comments where right, if your going to spend 800-1000 might as well just go 12-1600. No issues after that, running PBM PRO without any issues. That's pretty cheap in a scheme of things. With a BN-style kit- I'll have two inch clearance with another 4" of adjust-ability.
