Old thread was not showing any kinds of pics or information and I am in the market for some new seats that wont hit the doors too awful much. I am looking for racing seats but other things may be helpful to other people.

Bride Zeta II. Comfortable, done six and eight hour trips in it. Great for drifting/racing and track days. Fits with no issues on stock rails and side mounts. It's an older seat so finding an original (and in good shape) can be tough, but there are plenty of good replicas out there.

What is your weight and height. Ive been looking at some seats but I am simply too much of a fat bastard these days to fit in any JDM seats, although I did squeeze into a Brix and im 6'1" and 260lbs it was tight but doable.
Here are mine: authentic Bride Vios LowMax Fit great with side mount rails, but you cant put them in the lowest position or they wont slide. Im 5'10" around 165 or so and fit very comfortably in them. A buddy of mine is about the same height but around 200 and cant fit in them at all.

Nope all original S4 blue, the color in the photo is just off. Going to swap to black one of these days.
Got fake bride's
But they sit very well. I did ordered bride seat frame's, but they are made for tiny japanese people, so I rebuild them to sit lower. First few pictures are non modified frames.

Here's mine. Custom fixed mount on the passenger side, driver side custom mounted to factory slider. The Sparco seats are getting swapped for Kirkey series 47 seats in the next couple weeks.

Try re tapping the threads. As a last resort you could retap them to a slightly larger size. That might require drilling the threads out to make the hole slightly larger.

I just re-tapped my driver's side from M10 x 1.25 to M10 x 1.5 last week. I ruined a couple bolts and holes installing Mazdaspeed 3 seats into my vert. I also had a hell of a time with the passenger side so I bought new bolts, they go in and out a lot easier.
After you've successfully dealt with boogered threads, make future life simpler and put studs in the two rear mount holes instead of bolts.
The front bolts are easy to get right but I've found the rears are cranky- especially with the fine threads, using studs eliminates the problem.

Might sound stupid but is there anyway to integrate the stock sliders onto an aftermarket seat? I've looked at wedge engineering's page and I feel like the selection is very limited.
^^heck yes. i used stock rails on my bride brix. i think it cost me about 8$ in 3/8" flat bar. or maybe was 1/2". can't remember now. but yea it's super simple. i basically just cut the flat bar, drilled holes in it, bolted my 4 sections together to form a square, then bolted the oe rails to it. then bolted it to the base. sits nice and low too.
however, my seat is bottom mount though, not side
