My car is on megan streets, and to tell you the truth, i plan to change them out in the future (other priorities first though).
My past coilover experience is teins on my 240sx.. Tein HR than to Tein HE. Id like to eventually go to PBM coilovers. http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?9
Some people do rebuild the megans, usually change out the springs to better ones, than revalve them. http://mulsanne.wordpress.com/tag/coilover-rebuild/

i did the spring droop method. the actual "lowering" part is maxxed out. but i brought the perch down once i maxxed the height adjustment collar. so its all about what you want. its perfectly safe. i verified with 3 people that hvae been using it for over a year now, thrashing mtns etc and still fine. so, go for it. i love it

its about as comfortable as any other car on coilovers slammed. i didnt notice any change really any ride quality after i had done it. so id say go for it. but as for posting pics i cant exactly do it right now, seeing as im currently deployed to afghanistan and have no way of getting pics of the setup. i can try to get my dad to pull it out of his garage and jack it up to get a pic. so, give me till the weekend, and ill have a pic for you

what he means is not lowering the whole shock+spring assembly as a whole(like you are supposed to) but instead, lowering where the spring rests on the shock..
there should be 3 collars on the coilover. one: on the bottom of the threads used to hold the lowered shock body in place, one: holding the spring in place, and one:right under the one holding the spring in place..
he loosened the spring collars allowing the spring to sit lower on the shock body. the downside to doing this, is that you lose shock travel. which many people say is idiotic and stupid. but for some reason nobody compares this to using ground control sleeves(which is highly recommended OVER coilovers on this sight) which work in the exact same way to lower the car.
i would have done this already, but i'm concerned about ride quality(mainly bouncing around like i'm on ****** hydros)
most people will urge you not to do this as well as coilover companies, because it reduces shock travel. but i have ****** megan tracks with a 12 and 10 spring rate, and doubt the shock is traveling much anyways hahaha..
also!! lowering the perch too much can cause the spring to unseat and upon compression break the shock!!! D: imagine your coilover breaking in half?! **** all that

yep, he described it very well. but i love it. my car doesnt bounce like its on cut springs and if my girlfriend who hates cars doesnt mind riding in it then id say it passes that test. i wouldnt trust a drink to sit on my dash by any means. but who would. if you dont need a pic anymore ill tell my pops not to pull the car out from under the cover. i might be getting poweredbymax coilovers when i return stateside anyways
