i want to give my car a good nickname but am at a loss for creativity.
its a white 86 gxl

Its simple. You cant name your car. Either it has a personality that lends itself to a name, or it doesnt.
My 1991 buick skylark was the only car that I have owned that had a sufficient personality to garner a name. We called her The Bitch. She was tempermental, moody and a real pain in the *** sometimes, but just when you were ready to kick her to the curb she would start runnign just fine and make you hold on, HOPING that she had changed. She never did.

you just have to open your mind. what stikes you about your car. interior? exterior? driving? is there some quark about it? then just name it after that. my last 7 had a red interior...i called her rose. i have yet to come up with a name for my new turbo vert. red exterior and grey interior.
but a street warrior!

it might be overdone, but what about "baby"? Car lovers all over the world have been naming it that for ages, and it's worked out pretty good so far! LOL

its stupid , but our two sevens ended up with names to just to make it easier for us talk about them.
even stupider, some how we ended up with a "Flintstones" theme, Wilma is the red ( headed) 89 FC convertible , and Fred is the very basic, simple, black '79 SA.
when we get an FD, not sure if its going to be pebbles, bam bam, betty, dino, or barney. Probably Bam Bam ( twin snails) or Betty. The RX-8 will likely be a barney, the family car
