Yeah, only the GXL came with the AAS. Someone correct me if Im wrong but wasnt there a recall on the S5 automatic seat belts?

 

There is a recall on the s5 auto seat belts. If they break (stop retracting) Mazda will fix them under warranty for the life of the vehicle. I've had them replaced 3 times over 2 cars... the last one I had replaced was just before I put the car into storage for this winter. Some dealerships will give you a hassle and say it isn't covered... that the warranty has expired... but that isn't true. A call to Mazda USA/NA ought to get the issue sorted out.
