The wheels in that pic were mine, and when I got them they had the caps, I threw them away lol
If you really feel that strongly about it you could use some bondo or similar product on the stock caps and get rid of the mustang logo....although they look much better w/ no caps at all.

They were stock alloy silver when I sold them, but I'm pretty sure duplicolor wheel paint was used.
U sure? these wheels don't even look that good on mustangs w/ the cap, lol.

I just bought a set of chrome 2000 GT rims. They had some balded 275 - 40 on the back so I tried them out. It fits with about a pencil width to spare on the stock suspension. Looks to be exactly flush with the body.
1990 GXL 80,000 miles on stock suspension
Thinking I may go with some 235 - 45 all the way around. FYI I paid $100 for the set.
I didn't notice the weight being an issue but the car likes to skip around more on lumpy roads, the back will skip over going across a manhole. Handling is much improved over the worn 205s. Ride quality is a lot better. Probably because my 15s are worn the **** out.

first off, i'm sorry about bumping an old topic but it seemed better than making a new one.
i'm looking at getting some SC replicas for my s4, and was wondering if i could fit 17x9 +24 (front) and 17x10 +20 (rear) without to hassle? or would 17x8 +30 (front) and 17x9 +24 (rear) be easier. not looking to strech or run lots of neg camber here. thanks for the help
also if anyone has pics to share of sc wheels on a fc that'd be cool. seen one car on here but couldn't remember what thread it was in.

what size tire do you plan on using?
the narrower setup is definately easier, but the wider setup is still doable. just a little closer to fenders obviously and may take some minor work

thanks for the pics RRTEC, do you have a side view too? i was thinking of going with black/polished or gun metal/polished.
i was kinda thinking of like a 255/40 in front and 275/40 in rear.

Yeah, These were 275/40/18 rear and 245/45/18 fronts.... I put them on to test fit.. With the 1.5 drop I am planning these would have rubbed the fenders bad.. With a slight stretch (255 on the rear, and a 225 on the front there should be no problems..
