i hit something today

man, ppl from out of state just comin down to jax fl for some crap. they stop very short in their dodge nitro, and i didn't have enuff time to stop, thus rear ending them, my hood crinkled and my right lite won't go up...and all they have to walk away with is when my car went underneath and made some scuff marks on the bumper. **** sucks...i guess this is a sort of learning experience for me. by the way how much are you guys paying for your insurance on ur rx7s? im paying 1500 on my gxl and im with allstate. is this rite? im 17 by the way.

I've got an 89 GTU (17 years old in California) and I'm paying 1200 a year, so 1500 sounds about right for you. That sucks, I totalled my last car rear ending an SUV, it completely demolished the hood and everything in the first two feet of the engine compartment and their car was fine, just popped the bumper back into place and drove away. I feel your pain. Gonna fix it?

just over 500 a year here.....22 and live in Oklahoma, but still on insurance with my parents as well while I'm goin to school....but when my little sister gets a car soon it's gonna be up near there......so I'd imagine that's about right, just give it a few years and don't get in wrecks....and if you do try not to get insurance involved if they're minor....I've had a few minor fender benders which I have payed for out of pocket....just paint issues for the other people....crinkled bumper/hood for me, 300 bucks for them to get repaint.....a few hundred for new parts for me

collision and comprehensive coverage are the expensive components of an insurance plan, some people don't have any additional coverage and chose to buy only the minimum liability insurance to save money. It depends on you and your needs as to which coverage you buy.

I have full collision and comprehensive and maxed everything else and I pay $1,600 a yr for my '02 Volvo S60 in NJ and I'm 24.

0 collision
my deductible is 0
and i have an umbrella tied to it for 1,000,000 in property damage and medical, etc etc

it helps when you have a multi car discount, get excellent grades, have a safe driving course you took years ago, and no points
