I just finished building mine. 91 Coupe with large streetport, 2.0 rtek, and a FEW other modifications.
The car has less than 90k on the chassis and had been sitting for about 7 years. I had to literally strip it down to a shell and start from scratch. Its nice to see a project come together though!

turbo crap is all out even complete rusted out exhaust, this will be all redone.

the face behind the nickname...now you know me... also my daily driver in the background (keeping it rotary powered)

here is the stupid damage, just the tip of an apex seal went, detonation at 10.5psi due to hot plugs and lean condition. Getting some Cryo seals from atkins. These are 3mm and I still managed to crack it.

it will look a lot better when we are done...

Who ported that? Make sure you Do a CLOSE inspection of everything. Get some good tools if you dont already have them. Rebuild DVD, Feeler gauges, Digital calipers. Spec everything out.

I did... engine survived 4 years and I fuked up while tuning... will use the same streetporting formula I had. I rebuild engines all the time for local people here. from renis to peripheral no big issues... but as you know tuning is the key for longevity, that tip cracked under a lot of stress, created by my right foot on the gas pedal LOL

here is the old engine about 4 years ago when first rebuilt. Ran ok, just my tuning skills were not that great, setting the megasquirt perfectly took me some learning. Now is a different story

I like this porting...not too big and just smooth. So Im keeping it the same.

Right now my engine is at Lucky7 Racing being built.
Just recently came up hard on a Racing Beat Cat Back exhaust for 250 (almost new except for a few scratches)

All I am doing now is playing the waiting game =(

Been collecting parts for my engine since the fall of 2010.

Whenever i finish my wire harness at work, i can pull the motor, paint, and relocate everything in the engine bay, then i can install my tucked wire harness.

Ill start on the project this coming spring.

Yessir Turbo sleeves on NA housings. I bought the sleeves for $30-40 and I didn't like the diffuser on the NA inserts so I said let's install them.

Holy! that's a lot of rebuilding... I just scored some turbo housings. Seals should be here this week and so far listen to this...

without engine car weighs 2050lbs... Plan is to hit the scales at 2500lbs with rollcage. Car is turning out to be a full race car. Will be updating some more progress soon.

Kinda. It runs but i'm focus'd on rebuilding my brakes, altering my stock handbrake, doing some interior work, installing a harness bar and harness as well as a few other odds and ends. Maybe switching back to another lsd unit as my welded causing understeer kinda gets on my nerves. Then i've got a motor swap and a full custom front end with hand made rear toe links and hard suspension bits.

Nice to see you're getting back in the game. Did you ship any of your stuff from japan back here or did you opt to start fresh?
