Their rebuilds start at $1500 for a 13B, but I'm sure that doesn't include engine removal and install.
By the time I'm done I'll be $1700 (so far...) into the rebuild I'm doing myself, but that includes replacement housing, rotor and turbo. Getting my ECU chipped by Rtek, a new clutch kit, turbo gaskets, and all new seals gaskets and such.

I figure'd I'd let the rebuild thread know that emaleigh,my s5, is running.
I've never actually heard a good compression rotary engine, and I am now more in love with her than I ever have been.
It idles right at 800 or 850 but I haven't adjusted the CAS or tps or idle screw yet.
I'm going to try and get a video of it running/idling tmrw before I drop the tranny to replace the clutch.
My new one was too big, but I thought I'd try it anyway... bad idea.
Mmmmmmmm, rotary.
Edit: I meant to throw in that I swapped the engine in saturday, and finally got all the vac lines, wiring, etc. right today.
Rebuilt, 30k mile engine....

Right now I've got the exhaust off and I can't really hear anything except ... that exhaust note.

Just found out today the fc I bought needs a rebuild, 0 compression in the first rotor and only about 30psi in the 2nd. I just need to find out what I need for the rebuild as I don't really want to buy an entire rebuild kit if I don't have to

damn there are a lot of us with down FCs' hahaha its sad and should be a sign for all of us to love different cars :p (yeah right! nothing beats a beautiful rotory)
i was gonna do a rebuild but dont have the time nor the place to do it. so found what appears to be an amazing deal on a s4 T2 shortblock. so buying that swapping parts and putting new gaskets on and dropping in. hopefully will be running by the end of march.

The Big Ugly!
Started pulling the motor from my 86 for a new turbo build & I will be pulling the motor from my 88 to put the set up from the 86 in it. Pulled my back out so things are on hold for the moment.
