sunburn- I gotta admit that it doesn't look too bad. I thought the 18's would make it look weird but it looks pretty good, especially since you put the flares below the body line. spacing your wheels out really made a big difference IMO. the rim lip being even with the flare makes it look right. thank you for posting your pics! Maybe I'll do flares too, idk.

at least now we have a flare FC thread for anyone else wondering what they look like.

I told you guys!

seems there was quite a bit of skeptics on here... trust me... once I'm done with these people are going to sweat them...

I'm re-shaping the flares in the front and rear a bit this weekend... pics to follow with the car outside the garage.

Unfortunately the front tire size I'm running on the Enkei will not allow me to space them out too much. I'm going to trim up the front quite a bit so we'll see... I was going to order spacers for the front -but held off for now....

I just pulled it outside for the first time and when you stand back a few feet the car is stunning. I did not have my camera... I'll get some shots tomorrow.... this weekend the front wheels should be fit as well.

Rear is rubbing the former fender so I need to trim a bit more off of it...

Time to fit the front!

Here are some more side shots:

Before you assclowns pick them apart this is still not a finished project.

They are going to get cut right at the factory moldings to fit skirts/ kit... It's looking like the AIT kit is a winner... also some of the stock body at the rear of the rear fender is getting removed.

thats lookin pretty good so far, i cant wait to see it finished. I am just curious what kind of other modifications bodywise your going to do to make it work. The way i saw it you would just modify the flares to fit the stock body without cutting to much..like so.

Yeah you have the idea... I really need to get the skirts and bumpers before I really get into that... I'm going to shape the front a bit tomorrow because I have an event next weekend and it rubs at full lock.

They look pretty good already, but they'll look 100x better if you can reshape them like in that pic

Ya know I think I figured out what looks funny about them... first of all they are backwards, it was the only way they would fit... they are thicker in the front and taper off really thin as the go back... need to be the opposite

no way to swap them around... If I do there is no chance of them even bolting on. They will get a nice trim.
