"If you build it... they will come."

fc community is like what, 1/3 the size of the S chassis? .. probably why there isnt much options out.

I noticed that the 240 I posted was the same kit as the other post after the fact, sorry.

ya, I always forget that the FC community is much smaller then a lot of others out there. people are scared off by the rotary too because they don't understand them so that doesn't help either. The rotary is much simpler then a piston motor but they don't last as long (they can if NOT beaten on and proper maintenance) and they are not forgiving. one knock, broken apex seal, etc, can require lots of expensive parts and rebuilds or new motors all together. If FC's had piston motors I think they would be much more popular because I think they look 10 times better then 240's or AE86's (although 86's look cool too imo).

anyone know if there is a company that makes those kind of 240 flares specifically for FC's?

lol. you can put coilovers on 7's too ya know.

Iam undecided on the flares. I was going with the r magic widebody but changing the lines to make it like kinda tamon design-ish. using the brake vents for the fenders too. so until I draw up sketches of both, I can't make a decision. In my head they would both be good looks if I could pull off what I wanted to do. I don't know. definately using the vader SE front bumper for the FD though. thats the replica of the veilside d1 gt bumper. obviously modifying the bumper to flow into the FC lines.

I post up my sketches when I get around to it. maybe not for a while. I'm not the best artist either but I will be tracing a lot and then modifying that.

I was thinking the same thing. They do look good on some cars though.

OK here goes...

The quality of the fenders is excellent... they will need some basic work done that is expected with any aftermarket fiberglass part.

You can see in this pic that there is a bit of a lip on the top that will need to be sanded out for a nice fit.

OK here is the rear mock-up... I just ran out and threw them on quick to see how much work this is really going to be.

Mounted it a bit too low -but you get the idea... the top of the flare is going to be flush with the body line on the rear quarter. The fit is not that bad at all... I will have to notch the flares a bit to fit over the moldings thats about it... no laying glass or any really serious work! This is good news!

Here are the front... these are going to be a bit more tricky -but again no glass work:

It's going to be a busy weekend!

i consider these flares since its not a whole fender..

I think these were made by pan speed? ANd only the fronts a cool like this.

I was trying to find the picture of a forum member that has this front flares riveted onto the stock front fender. The car was black n had a pretty big sticker of a chick on the hood/fender kinda like the old school bomber planes had. Car was black and the wide fenders were flat black.

anyways these are the fornt fenders your can tell its just a small peice thats give you room for more tire and suspension stroke.

YES!!!

Turbo23-- Thanks.
YEs. I do have a couple questions.
1. WHo makes them and where to get em?
2. How much more tire can be fit under there. It has been said that stock fenders can barely fit 17x9 +24with a 255 tires. with a slight pull/ to no pull at all.(must have coilovers)

IF the car were really low. WOuld the tire rub when turning? Or during track events? Im refering to the outside edge that drops stright down.
