If I cannot get those I'm going to get a custom set of diamond racing wheels made in some crazy size/offset that will simply blow everyones mind... of course that will be next spring due to low funding at the moment.

Is there a pic of your car without the flares on? It seems like the flares lower the height of the wheel opening, making he tires "tuck" excessively. On 240s and such, I believe the height of the wheel opening isn't changed but thanks to the body lines on the FC you have to mount the flares lower. That is the difference in how they look on an FC vs a 240/hachi.
This can also be seen on the purple car pictured, because he flares are made to include the body line, and are thus higher, and look more appropriate.

I'm test fitting my Enkei from the rear 18x9.5 +27 in the front tonight and Equip 18x10 +17 (i think) in the rear... should fill out the fenders much better.

had these wheels came along before the engine did I would have bought them. -but I only paid $2500 for a LS2 with 2000 miles on it soooo.... wheels can wait. I'm guessing by the odd ball size of them that they might have them there long enough for me to save up some scratch
Those wheels give me a major stiffy.
