Do swapped cars piss you off?
and no one care about ur BS either
i have both a 10ae t2 and a n/a, theres no difference between the chassis other than the drivetrain / a few 20 yr old suspension part that no one care about, everything on both cars are swappable.
the only thing in the t2 is really superior might be the diff, which still kinda suck on hard launches
werd
na man, ppl with a fd doesnt know the difference between a turbo fc and a non fc lol
oh and my n/a is faster than the 10ae

some might argue that they want to start out with the lightest version of the car, a base S4 car, and build it from there.
manual windows and mirrors, no sunroof- real basic hardcore ****

the s5 gave u a couple extra mouse belt, door bars, a dash bar to take out, no biggie
buy the cheap *** version YES!!!! thats what most of us do because if you ask most FC owners if they had the money would they have an FD instead of an FC 9/10 will say yes but i dont have the money.

I fall into that category as well. Not saying I don't like FDs and don't plan on buying an one eventually, but if I have an FD, it will be parked right next to an FC (or 2).
Man the OP really has a ridiculous mentality. You said you wanted the opinion of real TII owners. Well I see plenty in this thread and they all seem to disagree with you. You are looking for some crazy one sided view that doesn't exist in the 2nd gen community.
Like some one said earlier: TII's are cool but they aren't the end all be all of FC's, all the models are completely interchangeable.
I'd like to own an FD someday but it will never replace the love I felt with my first FC. Also it won't be before owning a super clean and nasty FC.
If the OP still really wants to argue go look at AaronCakes car or numerous other 2nd gen owners to see what n/a's can really become. Or you can go look at all the super clean verts with TII swaps. What options did they have, verts never came stock turbo in the states. Yet beautiful cars like Rob xx 7's or hurleysurfs old black vert, pop up. Shika I'd throw you in there too but I can't remember off the top of my head if you swapped.

Hmm. I own a vert that I turbo swapped, but I also used to own a TII, so apparently I'm supposed to hate myself.
There's nothing wrong with someone wanting to build up an NA car. There are a lot of very clean swaps to offset the dirty ones you seem familiar with. Mine in particular was only done when I knew I'd have more than enough cash to spend on the project, so I could buy almost everything brand new. Honestly, as long as someone takes the time to convert it the "right way", who the hell cares if the car used to be NA?

Is that about the only reason the s5s are heavier? S4s dont have door bars and a dash bar???
I knew this thread would turn into a pissing contst with the NA owners as to all the non sense reasons why they bought a cheap *** FC and decided that they wanted to turn it into a power house. Like Ive said before, I dont care about your reasons. I didnt expect more than a hand full of responses from this thread but seeing how there are like 100NA owners to 1 TII owner I should have expected this. You have your reasons that you believe are okay to do what ever swap you want, thats great for you. I wanted to hear from the TII owners thoughts on the matter, that is all. If it makes you feel better please go ahead and make a "TII suxz, Swapped carz rullz1!!!1" thread if that is what you need. Im sure there are lots of people who can chime in and build everyone back up again.
i dont see how u think its a pissing contest...
everyone.. EVERYONE thinks its a fail thread......
theres no Tii vs. N/A's here
its rx7 owners that love Rx7s vs. a guy that got beat by a N/A chassis with a tii swap.....
and anyway u dont have a REAL tii anymore any way, u SWAPPED in a fmic, u swapped in tokico STRUTS w/ SLEAVE coil over (kind of a hack set up)
and u SWAPPED in a koyo rad...
no sorry not much of a authentic TII any more....

I still don't see how a properly done TII swap is soooo bad compared to a 'real' TII. The chassis is exactly the same between the 2, and once you put in the TII motor, ZOMFG it's the same damn thing!
This thread went from 'kind of dumb' to 'EPIC FAIL' very quickly.

This is pointless, there is no way to start a conversation that leads to anything productive with so much bias in this thread.* Im going to leave it to "different strokes for different folks"* or whatever sums this nonsence up the best.*

I think everyone is just confused about what actually makes a 'real' TII better. I've read this whole thread and I still don't get it. Try explaining it in a list form and back up any statements you make.
I think your angry because the thread is not working out to your liking.
