FWIW: The "single step" 16x7 Vic's have 5"/127mm of backspace...weigh 18.6 lbs each and they're actually Speedline SL390's made in Italy (they made some of Ferrari's OEM wheels back-in-the-day)...just put a set on my FC...NEEEED the 2-step lips BADLY...GRRRAARRRGH.

 

whats a single step? afaik there is only one type of crown vic wheel.

they are different lug patterns but if u get an a adapter they can work.

i love the look of these and never thought about those wheels! the set of bbs wheels i've been looking at is pretty much identical!

 

I was going to get crown vics, but for a couple hundred more u can get brand new bbs knockoffs so thats what i ended up with.

Those are not CV wheels, those are Lincoln MarkVII LSC wheels.

but here's a protip: buy some hideous chrome wheels that are 5x4 lug spacing and at least 17" diameter and about $200. then trade them to a crown vic owner with dem rimz.

 

Crown Vic and Mark 7 have the double step. Grand Marquis has single step.

Also, you can't get brand new BBS replicas for near this price brand new... I have seen multiple sets for $200-$250.

 

^^^Not 100% of the time, I believe it depends on the year. I think I have what is referred to as the double step lip. And my set came off a '99 Grand Marquis with the sport/touring package.

 

I have a pair of the same wheels, also off of a Marquis. IIRC they did come on specific years of CV and Marquis, but I don't remember what range of years.

 

Crown Victoria's and grand marquis have double stepped lips and the Lincoln mark don't.

 

have anymore pic's .really thinking bout selling my 15's for 16's but im kitted and riveted fender flares . i know ill need spacers . just needing a general idea what its gonna look like . so if anyone has any ,post. thanks

Any details on how they fit in the fenders once you slam it? I'm getting coils in a month, and I want to know if my fenders need more than just a roll? I have the double step with a 5 mm spacer to clear the calipers, and it sits kind of mexi about 3 mm out. Not sure if I can camber the wheels enough to fit.



As you can see, its a decent bit of poke.
