HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY i just noticed something..

i initially thought that crown vics came in different styles that had different offsets, but i just realized that SOME have the same spoke as the 16x7+6 but design with weaker offsets!!!

i will post a picture to show you guys what i'm talking about

EDIT WITH PIC:

the second picture says "double/stepped/larger lip" i accidentally cut it off

The Lincoln LSC mesh do not have the stepped lip.
Only the crown vics and Grand Marquis have the stepped lip.

I want to try finding the Lincoln wheels for the front and vic's for the rear. I don't want to modify my fenders. There are some people selling pairs of vics for 50 bucks in south Ontario.

red, how's the front fit? Any rubbing? I feel like the added 45mm or so will stick out to much in the front and I dont want to have much negative camber. Im at stock height now, but will get coilovers when I buy the wheels.

Looking good^

I just got my crown vic's back from powder coat today, got em done bright red to go along with my sparco seat, and some of my red accents. Still gotta polish the lip on em, but man I'm stoked to have them on my 7.

Here's a photoshop I did a few months back when deciding what color I was going. Besides gold (which I had already done on my old S4), it was the cleanest looking, I could have gone lime green, purple, blue, pink, you name it.

That purple is a similar color I want to paint mine once I get them. I want a little bit darker though. I'm having a hard time finding the less aggressive ones.

I'm confused as to why these would rub considering the offset is so low that the wheel is actually further away from the springs.

they rub on 4 pot brakes. not the spring.. you'll need like a 3-5mm spacer.. i have a 3mm and it still rubbed on the brake on some roads, and wore off a good bit of the inside of the wheel, but nothing major.

also those PURPLE vics are the ***** ****** ****!

Front overs?

Also, my car doesn't have the 4pots (91 na) so I should have no problems.

Also x2, I know you have heard this a billion times, but your car painted would look really awesome. I love that you're slammed without being hellafail.

My cars 91 na also.. withhhh foouuur pots!
Hahahaha

These are stock fenders, rolled very flat(with a hammer(came out great). Tires are 215/45-16, and I have my front coilovers at full negatuve camber, and get a liiiittle tiny bit of rubbing. Hasn't even damaged the tire..

And yeah I hear the paint thing a lot, but I like it like this.. so I'll be stickin to this for a little while until I get a nice job and can afford paint..

I don't want to do any body modifications :/. I feel like I have to get some different wheels.

I can't go to low. Once I get coilovers and these wheels with 205/50's I still want .5" to 1" between the tire and fender. Think I'll be fine without needing to roll or pull very much? I might roll a bit, but I definitely don't want to pull. I'm absolutely broke and about to start college. I can't afford to repaint my front fenders if I **** up. And doing it cheaply isn't an option considering my OCD will go insane.

hahaha calm down man, you'll be good. i didn't "PULL" my fenders at all.. & rolling my fenders only chipped the paint that was on the inside of the fender which is un-noticable.. i'd suggest that you roll them flat & but take your time & maybe use a heat gun(or blow dryer)

the fronts are verrry easy to roll.. the way RadioX7 showed me was just lay the fenders on the grass and hammer away hahaha.. and it STILL didn't chip the paint.
you may not want to be as aggresive, but trust me, it will be fine.

if you are too skeptical, just rent a fender roller from Professional Fender Roller - 7 Day Rental $50 and you have perfectly rolled fenders

also, with 205 50's i think you can get rid of all fender gap, and still be a reasonable height(ie. going over speedbumps, dips etc) because when i first got rid of fender gap(on 215/45's which are shorter) i was still able to go over them.

EDIT: i just remembered that when i first got the vics, i was still on TEIN coilovers(which definitely did NOT "slam" my car) and had fender gap.. i also remember not rolling either fender AT ALL.. so you will definitely be fine

EDIT #2: and did you notice that p-lav is also stock height? and look how good they fit already
