i like his powerband. a rx7 with a 1.15 AR or bigger will lose to anything off the line. powerband will be so far up you probably wont have time to catch up, lol.

damn i didnt expect you making hp at that rpm with that .81. i guess .96 is perfect.

That is the hot side I have on my 62-1 and I have no doubt @ 15psi with my streetports I will make that power if not a little more. I will post some pics when I get back from Iraq.

HAHHAHA I guess if you launching at 2500 rpm.

For me Im generally about 5500 to 6000 for a good launch on the strip, with no slicks etc. Hopefully with the 285's I now have, I plan to raise that a bit. Use to break the 245's free at 6500 and over.

Thought there would be more guys in this thread, its a popular turbo in Australia.

I had a 60-1HIFI on my old setup prior to swapping over to a big-shaft T70 T4 back last August. Good little street turbo for a 13B! I maxxed it out on the dyno running 25psi of boost on a half-bridgeport setup. It made right at 440rwhp and about 370ft/lbs of torque. I don't think it'll do anything above that.

hey guys remember how I said my 60-1 was laggy as **** with no boost controller?

well I pressure tested it again the other day and found that I hadn't tightened my blowoff valve spring, resulting in a major boost leak . so now it's more responsive, and now I've got a ghetto Home Depot boost controller for it until I can afford an AVC-R. So once the rain clears up I'm going to take it out for some tuning and blow my shitty little 225 Sumitomo tires off

I used a FD manifold and had a wedge made up to rotate the turbo away from the intake manifold.

Worked a treat
