Rigitiy....ha.
Hurleysurf had a thread on here a few years ago that illustrated the REAL reason why you need a roll bar when doing spirited driving in a vert.

So happy this thread is still rolling.
For the past seven months I've had no rotary vehicle in my life because my s4 and s5 are both blown.
I'm dropping my engine in tmrw (hopefully).....
Should have it ready to touge by next weekend.
This thread has actually been my inspiration to keep chugging along everyday.

Haha, I'm just sick of having no powers steering! It's not too bad, unless I'm running the mountains, or drifting for +15 minutes... **** gets tiring! Although it definitely is good having my car up and running finally.
i was near santa cruz, ca for work a little while ago, took the ford focus rental out to the mountains.. holy crap it was fun as hell, lots of good roads near there. i caught up to a mustang who thought he was hauling ***.. and couldnt pull away haha good times
Yeah, thread revival!
I'm very ready to start hittin up the mountains again. I haven't been able to cuz I had no power steering and my brakes have been so worn out. But now I have power steering, along with Power Slot Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors with Hawk HPS pads Front and Back. So when I go I'll remember to take pics/vids. Here's a few shots from back in March when we went on mid day weekend mtn run. Ran into a turbo supra that played with us on the drive, haha. I just remember looking back to see two black cars behind me, and I thought to myself, what the hell is able to keep up with us???

For sure, Saturdays are always the worst days to go. If we do it on a weekend again, we need to make sure we go on Sunday. But I'd be down to take some time off work, and go during a weekday and avoid 90% of the traffic. Although, what I've done before and I enjoy the most is just driving the 5 miles after Deckers on 67. Turn around, run it backwards. Turn around, and repeat about 5 to 10 times, haha. That one section has the tightest corners and has the best scenic spots.
