2nd gen touge drivers
did some mtn runs this weekend, but dont have any pics. my favorite part of it has to be hauling *** down these narrow mtn roads while listening to turbo spooling noises reflecting off the mtn wall on one side and treeson the other.. good times
The road I got is GMR and that place is excellent when there aren't scary noobs around (myself included). Slightly nearby is Turnbull Canyon as well.
The amusing part is observing the tire marks on the road that go off the mountain...
I haven't taken my fc over there yet as my downshift is still too slow and I haven't changed my brakes yet. I've taken my civic and been in my man's gsr down there and it's a great drive whether you're slow or quick through it.

GMR is a burn these days now, talking to some random dude when I was FC shopping and he got caught racing there and got a fat ticket for reckless driving and two points on his license or whatever, I been there a couple times to just cruise around, but to drive hard never, too many idiots on that road.
^ Yeah some drivers can definitely be scary up there, that's why I go during morning hours (10-11?) if I get a day off work. Not many people there at all whenever I visit like that. Weekends at that time though are full of cyclists so I tend to drive with somebody to keep a look out for them.

last time it was like 1am and there was 3 guys racingdown backside on long boards
Lol ya, I drive down the same roads I longboard/freebord down. Being a longboarder means you have no rights on the road. No drivers ever see you, or even realize you can't stop unless you bail. It kinda makes it a thrill, luckily I've never been tagged by someone racing down the mtn haha.
bombing hills on a longboard is ridiculous fun! I've done it up in north carolina when i was younger, but now realize how stupidly dangerous it is (still fun though!). I ride a landyachtz evo, went up to about 45mph and I thought I was gonna die lol
but yeah, watch out for longboarders. they tend to disregard the possibly of getting hit

Thats the best time to go longboarding, barely any cars are out... and usually we have a car follow us down so we can use the headlights to see, and then gives us a ride back to the top. 1-4 am is really the best time to go, haha. Good times
but the guys i saw where going down hill with out a car behind them lol
i acctually went up gmr tonight and there was 2 rx8s up there and 2 miatas and my fc it was pretty dope i just cruised it enjoyed the fresh mountain air and some good music plus i had my friend and his gf in my fc so i had to take it slow...we should caravan up there one of these days

that would be badass, but i said "my man's gsr," not "my mom"...
