Master cylinder bleed?

how do I bleed the master cylinder on my 1988 rx7? I'm having problems with my clutch and want to bleed it.

follow the hose to the slave cylinder, and there is a bleeder on that.

i open the drivers door and stand next to the car, you can push the pedal and reach the bleeder. i do it the lazy way, pump pedal a couple times, push it to the floor, open bleeder, close bleeder, pump pedal, put it to the floor, open bleeder, close bleeder, repeat

Superlazy way is just to run the hose from the bleeder back into the master cylinder reservoir. Duct tape it so it doesn't fall out and go to town.

I will probably try that. The problem is the clutch seems to have no pressure whenever I pump it.

Did you just replace any of the clutch hydraulic components or did the clutch pedal just lose pressure?

If its recently lost pressure and no components were replaced then I recommend replacing the clutch master and slave cylinders as well as a new slave cylinder hose and crush washer. Not a great idea to replace one of the components and put stress on an aging counter component.

when i bought it about 6 or 7 months ago the clutch didn't have any pressure. I've replaced the slave cylinder. Your suggestions are good ideas. I'll probably try those. Thank you for your help!!

just a quick question: could the bar that connects to the clutch pedal and goes into the firewall, be the reason there is no pressure and it isn't returning? Any answer is greatly appreciated.
