replacing master or is it the slave?

basically which is which? is the master the on that holds the fluid?

It sounds horrible but just think. The master controls the slave.

If you replace one, you should rebuild or replace the other.

Think about it... if the seals are bad in one... the seals are just about to fail in the other. They both have been doing the same work
