Clutch master cylinder bleeding problem

My clutch master cylinder went out(pressure was bleeding off), so I pulled one off of another rx7 while I wait on my rebuild kit to get here. I bolted everything up, but when I went to bleed it, it wouldnt draw fluid from the resevoir. Ive tried everything, even using a mityvac, nothing works. I was messing around with the old master cylinder after I took it off, and noticed it was doing the same thing, even though I had bleed it several times without incident before taking it off. What the hell is going on? Is there a special way you have to bleed it first?

Sounds like the drip/supply hole in the top of the cylinder is blocked. Remove the plastic reservoir and clear it with a pin or paper clip. Compressed air is good, too, if you have it. Also be sure that the bottom of the reservoir itself is open.

First loosen the fitting on the master to get it primed.

Then tighten it & open the slave bleed.

It's possible to have a bad line.
