Thanks guys (and girls
). It will be raining on and off today, but regardless, I am going to get the car running...After lunch, I will be doing the following:
-sacrifice of lawnmower piston to rotary gods
-fill with oil and coolant, check for leaks...ignore any leaks found for now
-install battery
-program basic settings in S-AFC (cylinders, sensor types, etc)
-pray
-START CAR
-check for leaks
-DRIVE, and rough tuning of S-AFC so it at least idles.

I like the pics very nice work. I'm getting an 86 na rx7 and I think I'm going to do a conversion too so I was wondering once you finish if you can make a list of all the parts you used and the prices if its not a problem.
It's an auto tranny??
Now that's impressive.
Are you using the TII intake manifold, and an intercooler?
Is the engine ported?
www.revolutionrotary.com has a drag can that's N/A, totally stripped, running a standalone ECU and a street port and I don't think they have broken 14's yet (N/A though)
How much power can that tranny take I wonder...

Man. I knew you were going to beat me to it!
I'm still waiting on my damn boost gauge.
Well, you took it for a ride... but you didn't make any comments about it. Is it not what you expected?
Don't let that o2 sensor voltage drop below .9!!!
Oh, you were right- that is the crappiest DP in the world!!
Hey, if it works, it works. You should see my exhaust, welding together multiple pieces of thainwalled galvanized tubing isn't fun. The galvanisation takes a bit to burn through, kindof sucks.

DUDE!! You're leaving me hangin!!!
How am supposed to go to sleep?? I've been waiting since 7:00 for the results!
I'd love to see a video.
How does the BOV sound?
One more thing.. I noticed you are using some generic gaskets (DP to cat). I don't know what it's like with a turbo, since EGT's will be lower from running richer, but anytime I've ever user anything but a metal Mazda gasket, it's burnt out in a period of days.
I had acutally just put a new one at my header-midpipe flange right before I left for TO when I dropped in on you- and you heard it after 6 hours on the highway!!! Blown right out.
Oh, I've been meaning to ask you what kind of camera you are using for all these pics, it seems very sweet... nice quality pics.
I'll just be sitting here.... waiting.....

Mine just got finished...
It all depends on what you want to do.
There are several different variations, to avoid hitting anything, but the simplest is just 2 exhaust flanges welded together with 2 pipes in the middle for the exhaust, total spacing: 2 1/2 to 2 5/8 inches.
Look at the beginning of this thread, there are pics of the spacer.
You can buy the flanges at Mazdatrix, or you can cut your own, like I did.
Honestly though, if something as (relative to the rest of the project) basic as this spacer is going to give you problems, don't tackle the whole thing untill you are totally prepared and confident you have researched everything.

Thank you veru much. I just bought two flanges from Mazdatrix. I have the turbo and exhaust manifold already. I will buy the oil cooler later. Do you suggest me to have the lean/rich meter? Also, I want to know will the Crane HI-6 ignition amplifier work better if I add a turbo? hard to install?

OK, I'm not trying to be mean here, but it seriously sounds like you don't have the knowledge to carry out this conversion. I just want to warn you that there is a high probability that it is NOT going to be a good experience.
Now, to answer the questions:
-Why are you buying an oil cooler?
-An Air/Fuel guage is absolutely NECESSARY, as well as an EGT guage
-The Crane (or any CDI box) is completely unnecessary.
