release: june 2002
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview
The new Xtreme EFI is designed to be one of the most user friendly systems on the market today. The Xtreme EFI features a unique connection system that works like an adapter. This will allow the user to plug into their OEM harness without the need of a wiring harness. It is shipped with 12 sequential injector peak & hold drivers. The ignition can control up to 8 individual coils or 16 as waste spark. Our over 20 years of experience working with street and racing EFI has enabled us to offer the advanced features of the Xtreme EFI as standard equipment at a reasonable price. Each Xtreme EFI will be pre programmed with a basic program so the car will start and run. Tables

hmm it actually looks like you could get it to work just like the stock ecu, for both injector staging
http://www.wvinter.net/~flanham/wlan...l/staging.html , and sequential turbo operation. plus it has enough out puts to run split timing if they let you in the software. anyone ever seen one??

They are all getting that way. I hear that the new Haltech is even worse. You know that you are getting old when the new technology starts to get overwhelming.

Yeah, my Evil SAT-1RE EMS is "available soon", and it's even better than the Xtreme, um, I mean Motec. Yes, it can even run split timing on a 20B with only one ignition channel (why stop at 5?). There is also rotor compensation for those who have a 20B with the 1 and 3 rotors phased 180deg (special counterweight sold separately). In my own Evil laboratory testing I have found my Evil SAT-1RE to gain 20bhp over a TECIII which has been de-tuned. I am also working on a plug & play version which only requires modifications to the crank angle sensor, emissions wiring harness, engine wiring harness, alarm system, power antenna, cigarette lighter, and a Cisco CCNA certification to get your car running right out of the box! :

I'm surprised these new ECU's don't run CAT5/FireWire/USB as standard...

Fricken HKS F-CON Pro V is using CAT5 plugs for a few years now!

I played with the software in LA, its very easy to tune, has all the options of a motec, but way cheaper. There will be plug in adaptor harness for the FD.

being an EFI dealer I've been waiting for this thing for 3 years. It looks very promising, and super cheap 1100 bucks i believe
