Update on car rebuild
I have not been on much lately. I have alot going on in my life. I have returned back from CA now after the job started then we had the contract fall through.
I have had some time to start working on the car and did some traveling.
Unfortunately I will be putting the car up for sale real soon.
Here are a few photos of my progress

All that is left is to fix a few dents on the driver's side, minor body panel adjustment, final filler, block sanding and paint. I am not a painter and am not going to try.
It also need to have 1 rim fixed that was bent. Any recomendation sense The SSR GT3's are not made anymore?
I'll post a pic of it.

An long due update.
The past week or two I've been prepping the car for paint. I am going to do a full color change, and add rear flares from shine auto. I wanted to do more of the body kit, but money is limited at the moment. I'll add the other pieces when I am able. I also had a '99 spoiler I can finally put on after sitting in the attic for 4 years.
I just want to get the car out.
Here are some pics after 1st round of block sanding and recoat .

I'll start the final sanding after the flares arrive tuesday.
Here is the color I am going with. It is the 2010 40th Anniversary Eddition 370z Graphite Metallic.
The PPG supplier had to order some of the components to make the paint. It will be ready tuesday.

I have most of the parts, just need the subframe, axle shafts, and driveshaft. I may try it with the 3.55 gears, I'm sure i'll end up changing them.
Car was painted last weekend. Starting to reassemble and color sand it. This week has been busy. I should have it together this weekend. Then I just need to have an alignment done and a DOT signoff.

you are one lucky guy consider what happened on the road.
i really like your color choice it goes w all the breakthru engineering you did on your car.
i am waiting on my machine shop to verify CL on my adapter plate and drill four holes for the hydraulic clutch release bearing. in theory end of next week. it is then a bolt together.
good luck and i hope things work out that you are able to keep your magnificent FD.

Here are some updated pics.
Still working on color sanding and then the final buff.
I'm still looking at options for rims. I added the burnout rear flares to allow a wider tire. I should be able to fit 335's on there, if not I'll go with 315's.
