Not a good day. Wrecked the car.
It was the first nice day in almost 2 weeks of rain, snow, and cold. I took the car out and ended up playing tag with a Ford F450. Went to pass him, next thing I knew I hit his dualy wheel and it scraped down the passanger side and broke the rear upper control arm, trailing arm, and toe link. The car spun out and ended up in the ditch. The Right rear wheel was only hanging on by the lower control and and CV.
I think the insurrance company sill end up totaling it out.
What is a fare market value of FD's I have 62000 miles on it and it WAS in prestine condition. If it is totaled I will see how much the buy back option is, or what kind of deal can be had. I am heart broken, and was just getting ready to get an agreed value insureance before I headed to CA.
I know I will need to negotiate with the adjuster. Let me know what you think .

Yes it is, I've already started searching for a replacement. Just need something with an excellent body. I don't car about the drivetrain because I'll swap mine in.
I am making a plan based on buying back the car and stripping it.
Needless to say I'll be with a 7 for a while.

Oh man, that sucks. If you have a good insuance company like State Farm they will hopefully give you about $17K for the car, but if you have a bad insurance company like GEICO then you are going to get hosed. A lot of it also depends on what kind of Collision insurance you are carrying. Did you buy any Custom Parts and Equipment insurance? Good luck on the payoff.

ouch!
my CYM had similar damage, although not as bad, insurance gave my 18k for it, i bought it back for $320.
mine had already been wrecked on that side, we ended up fixing it, and its now semi retired.

Thanks for the support..
It was my fault, The only thing I can think of is somthing broke and might of caused it.
It happend so fast. I downshifted , started to pass when I was next to the truck the back end of the 7 kicked over. Kinda like fishtailing but not. I know how the car feels and it was not like the tires break loose. I was hardly on the pedal at all. I tried to correct it but no luck.
Ended up going sideways into the ditch.
The rear wheel did hit the dual on the truck I cant tell what ws broken before or after. All I know the knuckle is broke, the toe link mount on the subframe is tore off, the trailing arm is detached at the low arm.
Once the adjuster checks it out I will investiage further.

Right now it needs for sure
Rear subframe, right rear knuckle, new trailing arm, passanger door, pull out the rear quarter panel between the door and rear wheel new passanger fender.
I don't want to touch it until it is evaluated.
