Turbo Choice for 500-600whp
Turbo Choice for 500-600whp
Hey guys!
I have finally acquired my childhood dream car, a 1995 RX-7 FD, JDM import RHD, and I'm just all sorts of excited.
My goal for the car is to 20B swap it, and get about 500-600rwhp, both for tracking, TT, and occasional streeting (weekends, cruising)
Now... this is still years off, I am not in a hurry, I do not want to rush anything and I'm currently in the planning, research and self-education phase.
I am well aware of the high costs involved with a 20B swap and everything else that comes with it, financially I am not concerned, and want to do things the RIGHT way, not the EASY way.
One of the main things I'm trying to study and understand is turbo sizing. I've been through a few threads here and the opinions are wildly varied and depends entirely on application.
So my question is: What would be a few recommended turbos for 500-600whp, decent power band for tracking and time attacking, but still streetable? The 20B will be Street Ported at a minimum.
Thank you for taking your time to read and reply!
Cheers
