R85 turbo on a 20B

I'm planning on getting a R85 turbo for my 13B because I need to replace my twins soon. but I'm also planning on getting a 20B. Just wondering if the R85 turbo itself would work on a 20B

Most any turbo will work so long as you have a manifold.

I think the R85 turbo is too small if you want to run around 15psi. However, the HT-400II that Dee and Keith carry would be a good match. Take it from me, if you do a 20b swap buying a new turbo won't make or break it for you :p.

To small with a 1.15 A/R? That's actually what I was wondering. If the A/R is good for a 20B

I think the compressor wheel on the R85 is only around 63mm. that's smaller than a T66 turbo. do you think T66 is too small for 20B? I know T88 is too big for my taste in my 20B but I would go anything lower than a T72 in a 20B.

I would say it all depends on the type of build you are going to do for the motor. 66mm and up.
