Need an opinion from you 20b guys

before purchasing an rx7 im checking out all the possible routes to go. Now i know that every one says a 20b swap will be anywhere from 15k to 35k depending on a few variables. And what my question is, is it worth doing a 20b swap into and fc to build the 20b to only about 400 rwhp? Basicly ending up with a better low and midrange power and better spool time for the turbo. Or should i just forget about that?

if you're willing to pay 10-20k to have it have more midrange power then yes it is

I wouldn't bother unless you want more than 400.
I recommend it if you're shooting for 500 and beyond...

Agreed. I would stick with the 13B unless you want over about 550 or so rwhp.

well thanks for the advice guys i'll have to weigh the option and decide what i want for power levels and see if the extra midrange can justify the cost. thanks guys.

Here's and easy answer, go and find someone who has a 20b installed and take a spin. Then make your decision. I'm pretty sure some of the 20b guys would love to show off how powerful their cars are.

Unfortunately, all logic goes out the window when you drive a 3 rotor RX-7.
