Starting issue
Lately my car has to be turned over about 3-6 different times before it starts. I have 3 fuel pumps and a relay for each. I've noticed that the relays drop out and the pumps shut off while the engine is turning over. The fuel pressure drops off and it won't start after 3-6 tries. I guess after enough tries, I have enough fuel to fire off.
I checked the voltage and it drops off to like 9.x while cranking and that is enough to drop out the relays. I checked several different hot wires while cranking and get the same voltage.
I wonder if the starter is going bad and drawing down the voltage too much?
Any suggestions?
