FYI Nopi is about
close down the Pro street tire class
cause several of the cars competing
are retiring or moving up to a diffrent class....
At least thats what there discussing now

NDRATECH:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What people fail to realize is that only one of the four cars that everyone is talking about is legal to run faster than 8.50 in 2006. The rest of the cars will have to get thier chassis certed under the new SFI standards for 2006. Now, I already know that the 2 fastest cars in the current class are retiring after the 2005 season is over, another is going to Pro Outlaw, and another is being put on the side for Paisleys old car to run in another class. So what does that leave us with??
Why not start now, and build a class that AWD cars can compete in without having to build something like Afshars car?
Before you guys flame, I already know that Sheperd is competitive in his car, but most DSM guys with AWD cars want to compete in a street style class.
Even if any of this changes and 1 car returns for 2006, we are not planning on running any class in 2006 that only has 1 car in it. Just a bit of info for those who care.

3 rotor is not allowed in that class, cuz if it was Ari would of been competing in there.

sheperd is now running a different class in his car in FRW pro in nopi and hot rod front wheel drive in NHRA

but what they are also thinkg of doing is changing the class to pro street, meaning no auto trany can be used, has to be stock OEM trannies, and no turbo limit on 4 cyl cars

well im still talking to the officials and i dont know if he is losening up a lil about it, but maybe he is... we talking about how would weight and turbo size be a factor in setting up the rules for it? I was suggesting the same rules as a supra with some exception of the weight a tad bit lighter..

please guys give me some help here... im going to be soon working on my project and am trying to run in this class and pretty much influence some of you guys to do the same, i know we have a **** load of 3 rotor cars out there, now lets run them...lol
