N/A 20B Intake

I have a 20B with a racing beat electronic dizzy so will be running N/A with a carb. Has anyone had any experience with these carbs on a 20B:

2x 48 IDA's
46 IDA 3C
650/750 Holley DP

etc.

Looking for info at this stage on which flow too much or not enough air on a 20B. Manifold will be made to suit.

Those things are barely enough for a 13B...you think it's going to handle 50% more displacement?

I have seen a few running on carbs listed above but would like more info/ideas.

Also seen one running on a 51 IDA & it went quite well.

I run 3, not 2, 55mm ida throttle bodies, and its barely enough. Thats about 1,650cfm of air. I dont think a 750 holley is going to compete with that.

So what would 2x 48 IDA's (4x 48mm) be like compared to your 3x 55mm IDA throttle bodies?

Does your engine have standard ports?

4, 48ida throttles will have about 1,920 cfm, so yes it would be more air flow. I was using only street port side ports, without the p-ports hooked up and capped off. But remember the 20b has 6 ports total, so 6 throttles or 3 throttles make a easier setup 4 distributing to 6 would require a plenum type of affair and lessen the advantages of individual throttles.
