20b na potential

Ive been searching for hp figures on different types of 20b NA setups. Ive only found 2. Can any of you guys shed some light on it for me. This is what ive found so far.

20b minus turbos with everything else stock- estimated 250whp

9.7:1 rotors, street port only, full custom header/exhaust, ITB intake setup. Made 310rwhp on mustang dyno with ECU issues, later 348rwhp problems fixed.

thanks for any help

there are a few guys here in florida making 350-370 whp out of 13b peripheral port engines so 500-520 whp could be done with the right setup .

Have a search in the ausrotary website using the keywords along the line of "white 20B rx7". Will be under the members rides section. He did have dyno figures for no turbo with stock manifold, then changed to IDA style setup and then added the turbo. Had approx. 300 RWHP from memory with the IDA setup and then 450 with the turbo.

^ Middle pic above! That's the upper ITB that GtoRx7 made for his 20b here in the states. In Gto's car, he had 9.7 compression rotors and made 345rwhp. I think the engine above is using the stock 9.0 rotors.

Yes thats correct, I was using the stock rotors. I think GtoRx7 made around 310hp but them stated later it felt like another 40hp but didn't put it on the dyno, could be wrong but thats what I remember.

Dynos in the US tend to be more optimistic then here in Aus.

The day mine was dyno'd, street bridge port 13B's made a best of 205hp on the same dyno, a 13B PP made 215 if I remember right.

My engine made a gain of 50 rwhp just with those itb's.
