20b Engine builders in Orlando
Hey guys,
I am new here on the forum and i also just blew a rotor in my 1994 FD 13b. I have made the decision to step it up to the 20b, any suggested ( trusted) engine builders that can do the conversion at a reasonable cost in the Orlando area?
Thanks,
Marc

My car is going to Kilo Racing. I live in Central Florida and also met his son Kilito. I went to his shop just a few weeks ago and he checked a turbo for me. Be very careful in Orlando a lot of rotary thiefs. I am waiting for my rotary extreme v-mount and some more money so that an engine can be placed in my car by Kilo Racing. I recommend going to Kilo Racing.

I had Rohan at Rohtech Motorsports in Winter Garden, FL do the conversion for me. They did an awesome job. Impressive Numbers on the Dyno!

All around 20b conversions
i work with Skernracing.com from Puerto Rico they travel back and forth from Puerto Rico to orlando all the time. They worked on my car and the numbers speak for themselves 831hp to the wheels spinning on the dyno. They also have many of the fastest rotaries on the world and the first 13b to run 6 seconds many years ago. They have proven technology and many years of experience. I live in Orlando Gaby Skern is going to be here in late January if you are interested let me know and i will talk to him to get your build going.
here is his channel in youtube and my dyno video.

to make a long story short.. they built an engine for me while they were here for some other business, they were in a rush to put everything back together that they forgot to install a few side seals. the engine wouldn't start. like i said to make a LONG story short they said they had to go and needed to get paid. the other person that "contract" them pulled the engine out and seals were missing.
I would just stick to a local engine builder that provides a warranty.

Never rush an engine build. Definetly stick with a local builder that is close enough for you to go to and personally check the progress of your build. I usually take longer than most on any build, be it a 20b or 13b.
I'd suggest Kilo if you are in the kissime/st cloud area or Rotech Motorsports if you are in the Orlando/ Winter Garden area they are both excellent choices and have the best pricing in my opinion.

I haven't been in this forum for a while, but will second everyone's suggestion on Kilo Racing, Jesus Padilla is your man. Read up on David Hayes' and Carlo's(bewtew) threads on this forum, they've dealt with many builders and Jesus Padilla ended up finishing their projects.
