Your Idea on power level:

What would be your Idea of power level from a stock port 12a, 45mm carb, ported intake manifold, and header/back exhaust?

question 2, what would be the Hp/Tq difference if it became a streetported 12a?

What docs says plus be careful about porting the intake manifold. Of course assuming by 45mm, your talking a weber or weber like setup, the intake wouldn't be stock anyways and would probably already be "ported" efficiently for the carb. Search on the word reversion to get a better idea of what I'm referring to.

The answers to both would depend a lot on what kind of exhaust you have after the header.

So, you're running a straight 2.5" pipe with no muffler from the header back on the street? I'll bet your neighbors love you!

After 2 weeks of that you won't be able to hear anything. I think you underestimate just how loud a rotary is.

I raked the muffler off my EP car hopping the curbing at Portland International, and they were so busy trying to deal with a variety of carnage in the Festival Curves that they never got around to black flagging me for sound. Even though I was wearing earplugs, a balaclava, and a helmet I almost pulled off several times becasue it was so freaking loud that it was intensly physically painful. The cornerworkers at the last corner were actually turning their backs on me, crouching down and covering their ears becasue it was so loud when I passed within a few feet of them. I could look up into the stands and see mothers covering their childrens ears as I SCREAMED down the front straight. I couldn't hear properly for over a week after that, so I strongly suggest that you do not run a rotary in anger with no muffler!!!
