This isn't a really big issue but its driving me crazy. I have power to the moter but it doesnt work. If i connect the motor to a small battery it works. If i connect a test light to the power connecter the windshield wiper turns on. So i can't think of anyother ideas to trouble shoot . Any ideas? Thanks gor your help.

 

If you get power to it when you press the wash button your ground is likely bad. Trace the ground back from the washer motor and check connectors for corrosion.
