those are the motors for lifting/lowering your headlights. pop your hood with the rubber caps off and turn on your headlights..

if your headlight(s) ever get stuck you can use them to manually move it up or down

If you mess with them they can become out of sync with one another. I've actually gotten a shock a few times when I manually raised the headlights on my Probe GT.

If you try to turn the ***** too far they will turn back automatically to their farthest setting. Kinda freaked me out the first time it happened. I was adjusting the light down since it didn't quite mount flush, and I went a down a little too far. The **** spun back the other way a couple turns, but the headlight was in the right place

You are supposed to unplug the motors before you use the *****. That or remove a certain fuse, or something... It's in the owner's manual. But for sure, you have to disconnect something before you use the manual control.

You can hurt yourself messing around with them without turning off the juice first...
